Product Review:
Vitakraft Orange Flavored Yogurt Drops

Sarah Shuman
From the July/August 1999 Rat & Mouse Gazette

We’ve all been there. Standing in the Small Animal section at a local petshop, browsing the racks for something, anything to liven up a dull evening in the rattie room. I was facing just such a situation, when what to my wondering eyes should appear but a tiny, colorful box full of orange Vitacraft yogurt drops! Hmmm... And on sale, too. I have to try these.

So, after buying lots of bedding, a few toys, a couple of products to test, etc., I moseyed on home with the loot and went downstairs to play with the ratties. As I went around feeding and cleaning and so on, I offered each group of ratties a small handful of the new yogurt drops. The response was universally enthusiastic! The drops were snatched and crammed into rattie mouths with delight. They were swiftly gobbled until neither chunks nor crumbs remained for the eager rattie noses to detect and inhale.

The ratties seemed as pleased with these yogurt drops as they have always been with the Wild Berry version made by the same company. They are labeled for cavies, because they include vitamin C, but they won’t do any harm to ratties. You can find them at your local pet store. The Chew Crew highly recommends them.
