About the RMCA
The RMCA is a non-profit club for rat and mouse enthusiasts. It was founded around the following objectives:
  • To educate about the proper care of domestic rats and mice;
  • To promote responsible pet ownership and breeding;
  • To promote the rat and mouse fancy as a rewarding and enjoyable hobby;
  • To be good-hearted, compassionate, and friendly at all RMCA functions;
  • To be open to new ideas and allow room for growth.
What's in it for me?
No matter where you live in the world you can participate in the Rat and Mouse Club of America though our forums.

RMCA also has several chapters around the United States and Canada. If you're lucky enough to live in an area with a chapter, you can attend and enjoy our many events, meetings, and parties. Check the event schedule for information on upcoming events around North America. If you don't live in an area with an existing chapter, you can start one and continue to enlarge the RMCA family! Many chapters publish their own newsletters as well, so if you wish to pay membership fees to the chapters you can receive newsletters and more information than you ever imagined!

RMCA currently has chapters in the following areas/regions in the U.S.: Southern California, Northern California, Florida, Georgia (2 chapters), Michigan, Nevada, New England, and New Mexico as well as 2 chapters in Quebec and another in Ontario Canada.
